December 21 Stomach FluUnfortunately I was not feeling to well, y'day morning I got up to a nasty gastroenteritis. It's so dreadful it really takes all your energy. Just 48 hours before my husband had the symptoms too and he was very bad. I was feeling fine until y'day morning. My Doctor actually told me that most probably I will catch it and he was so right. It is highly contagious but I took all the necessary precautions but it seems that it was enough. I feel a bit better today at least no loose stools or vomiting. December 07 Wallpapers-Guy&Marian (Robin hood)Wallpaper Preview October 07 Back from a magical place..Well our beautiful holiday is now over. Y'day we returned back from Ireland. We stayed in a wonderful cottage situated in Ballymoney just outskirts of Gorey in Co. Wexford. We visited many locations Glendalough Visitors centre and the Lakes, made the tour of The Military Road visiting also the Powerscourt Waterfall, Powerscourt House and Gardens - the gardens are absolutely magnificent. Went up to the midlands in Slane Co. Meath and visited Newgrange which is a world Heritage site and is a Megalitic tomb built in 3200BC. Seen also Trim Castle in Co Meath. Went to Kilkenny Castle and gardens very lovely also. But the most amazing place was definitely The Lakes of Killarney unbelievably beautiful tooooo beautiful I would live here forever. We had a long trip to get to these lakes it was about 5 hours by car from the cottage to Killarney but it was worth while, in fact we stayed in the Lake hotel for one night to have time to visited the lakes. August 28 LayoutToday I played around with the colours and layout here on windows live. It took a while to find the perfect colouration.I also added the same background I did for my official website. (The one with the maltese cross merged with the diamonds- its quite small so you have to have a super eye to notice the diamonds lol) I wish I could add a banner at the top but for now this can't be done here .. I wish they could make windows live a little more flexible.
Also I added more links "Other Places +" on the sidebar on my official site. This shows all the spaces etc I'm part off. August 14 New website layout!!!Well just wanted to let you know that I have completely revamped my website over at Soft Creations. Completely new layout, with more interactive features. The image gallery is quite neat and simple, you could also view slide shows for any album accessed. I have been working on it for a couple of weeks now. The site includes all updates from when I launched it in Dec 2006. So please feel free to go over and have a look!! If you see any glitches please do inform me so that I’ll try and fix the problem. In the next couple of days I’ll be working on a new intro page so keep on checking from time to time. You can also subscribe to RSS feeds to receive notification when updates are posted Any queries just let me know. Marie June 11 A difficult weekend...This was a difficult weekend especially today My cat Sheba who lives with my mum, degenerated rapidly over the past few days. She had a tumour which was putting her in agony. I really don’t feel like going into details, but the decision had to be taken. She was suffering tremendously you could see it in her eyes and her movement, but however you would not hear her complain. You know its strange cause she can't tell you that she's in pain so I kept on hoping that things would change although I knew they wouldn't. Anyway I took the decision and she was taken to a place were she would rest for ever. Now she's resting for sure and her agony is over. I will never forget her, she's given us 18 beautiful years. He is now in a rehabilitation hospital. He was admitted on Wednesday thank God. This move was really helpful even his will and strength have improved. He is using a Gutter frame to walk but he still needs help to get up and constant attention but the improvement is amazing. I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers and support. Please keep on praying for him. God willing he’ll be back home in a few weeks. Back to his study desk doing what he loves most. He is such an awesome man I wish you could meet him. I learnt so much from him and to say the truth I still learn from him every day. God bless you all ~Marie~ March 31 Sad newsJust wanted to let you know that unfortunately my grandfather fell last week. He broke his elbow and was operated last Saturday morning.
I would really appreciate if you could say a prayer for him and for us during this difficult time. I never imagined how difficult it would be especially due to the fact that my father can’t handle him due to his back pain. Unfortunately he cannot walk after the fall and so he needs a lot of care and attention. I was not online at all since practically I’m always with him except when I’m working and to say the truth I lost interest in everything and I’m always thinking about him. Yesterday my grandfather was discharged from hospital. We took him to a private home. Here he will get the care and attention he needs. Also he will get the physiotherapy he requires to start walking again. We don’t know how long he will remain in this private home. My parents are trying to sort out things. I will keep you posted.He needs strength and will. Keep us in your prayers. ~Marie March 19 Photoshop BrushesOk so finally I finished my first set of photoshop Text brushes. I was not feeling too well during the past few days i'm now trying to take life a little bit more easy after all my health is first and foremost.
